Entry to Makerspace
Our main entrance is at the rear of the building, using a set of stairs that bring you down into the basement of the WEA.
This entrance is always available when Makerspace Adelaide is open to the public.
Parking
Secure on-site parking is available behind the WEA building for a flat-rate fee of
$5 every day of the week. There is an entry boom gate which accepts coins or EFTPOS payments.
There is also on-street parking at the front of the building, which is free of charge but limited to:
- Monday-Friday: Up to 2 hours free (8am-6pm)
- Saturday: Up to 3 hours free (8am-6pm)
- Sunday: All-Day free
- Evenings: Free (6pm-8am)
Accessible Entry
There are accessible entry ramps at both the front and rear of the WEA building.
Ordinarily these doors will automatically open, and you can then take the elevator down to Makerspace in the basement. If the WEA is closed, you will need to ring the Makerspace doorbell at one of those entry ramps and a volunteer will make their way up to let you into the building.
